U.S. Department of Labor Representatives

Lafe Solomon is Senior Labor Compliance Advisor in the Office of the Solicitor at the Department of Labor. Before coming to the Department, he was a career NLRB attorney for 40 years, serving as Acting General Counsel from 2010 to 2013. A native of Helena, Arkansas, he received a B.A. degree in Economics from Brown University in 1970 and a J. D. from Tulane University in 1076.
 
Jeff Vockrodt is a Senior Policy Advisor in the Department of Labor’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Policy. Before coming to the Department he practiced law with James & Hoffman in Washington, DC. He had previously served in legal, political and organizing roles for a variety of labor unions. Vockrodt graduated from the University of Minnesota with BS, JD and MPP degrees.
